His father was George Hunt and her father was Edward Gutteridge; he was age 27 and she was age 28.5,6 George Hunt appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at Maud Street, Canning Town, Essex, England, as Head, married, age 35, birthplace Victoria Docks, Essex, and he worked as Lighterman (Barge). His wife and three children completed the household.3 He appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at Maud Street, Canning Town, Essex, England, as Head, widowed, age 45, birthplace West Ham, Essex, and he worked as his own account as Lighterman.
