In St. Charles Civil Records, No. 317, 2/?/79, p. 62, the wife of Mathieu HOTARD (Genevieve BOURGEOIS) is called Dominique's oldest daughter.
The death record for Genevieve BOURGEOIS, the spouse of Matthieu HOTARD, shows an age of 68 years in 1821, implying a birth year of about 1753. But according to other records, her mother was born in 1743. Since it is unlikely that her mother was only 10 when Genevieve was born, either the birth year for Genevieve BOURGEOIS or for Genevieve HUVAL is wrong.
