Prospectus of the Sacred Heart College SWAN LAKE, MAN. UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE Brothers of Our Lady of Mercy Prospectus Situation - The College is situated within ten minutes walk of Swan Lake Village and Station, on the C. N. R. The property comprises 320 acres of the finest land in the district. Buildings - The premises are complete and commodious. No efforts have been spared to ensure every comfort and convenience for the pupils. Curriculum - The general programme of Education is based on the official requirements of the Department of Education for the Province of Manitoba. A good general education fitting for any sphere in life will be given. Health - Special attention will be be paid to the health and deportment of the pupils. Religious Training - This is a matter of particular care with the Brothers of Our Lady of Mercy. Every opportunity is taken to implant in the hearts of their pupils a solid and sincere piety; but no attempt will be made to influence any non-Catholic pupil. Fees - For board and tuition $15.00 per month for pupils under 12 years of age; $18.00 per month for pupils between 12 and 15; $20.00 per month for pupils over 15 years of age. Optional - Piano or violin, $3.00 per month. Laundry $2 .00 per month. Bedding $1.50 per month. Extras - Medical Attendance, Mending, Books and Stationery. &emdash; All Fees are Payable in Advance. General Information - Each pupil should be provided with a certificate of Baptism; if confirmed, with one of confirmation; and if coming from another school, a testimonial of good character. Pupils whose conduct is objectionable or whose parents or guardians do not comply with the conditions of the Prospectus will not be allowed to remain at the College. The Director reserves the right to supervise the pupils' correspondence. School Outfit - The following are suggested: One best suit, two other suits, four day shirts, four vests (wool), four vests (cotton), three pairs of drawers, six pairs of stockings, two pairs of boots, one pair of rubbers, one pair of slippers, six table napkins, six pocket handkerchiefs, toilet requisites.
