ATCHISON - Etta Coufal, 91, Atchison, died April 27, 1992, at a hospital here.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Chapel, Atchison; burial in Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kan. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Atchison, or the Atchison Senior Village. Mrs. Coufal was born in Omaha, Neb., and moved to Atchison in the early 1960s. She was a member of the church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Social Order of Beauceant. Her husband, John Coufal, died in 1952. Survivors include two sons, Clifford "Bud" Coufal, Troy, and John Coufal, Emporia, Kan.; two daughters, Margaret Marcell, Topeka, and Ruth Thielbar, Two Rivers, Wis.; a sister, Helen Scott, Omaha, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
