"Having experienced, by the untimely decease of seven beloved children, whose remains lie mouldering around him, how vain it is to expect lasting happiness from any Human source, he fixed his affections on things above, When called upon by that summonds which we must all obey to quit this scene of his probation, he met the approach of the King of Terrors without dismay, and peacefully died, with unshaken faith in the merits of his REDEEMER for the forgiveness of his sins here, and in the joyous expectation of a resurrection to eternal life hereafter."
