ASSUMED to be a daughter of these parents. 1) 1840 Census has a female 10-15 (Delilah would have been 14) and the 1830 Census has a female 5-10 (Delilah would have been 4). 2) Living next door to Robert Craig in 1850. 3) Nancy Dawson Craig had a sister named Delilah.
General Notes for Child Nancy J. Craig
According to Bertha McCormick in 1954 Melissa Humphery's mother's name was Adelin Crag. However, no confirmation of this fact can be established. In 1860 census for Kanawha County (WV) page 148 the spouse was most likely to be Nancy. The relationship between Lewis and Nancy is only speculation. It may have been his sister, aunt, etc. and not his wife. His wife may not have been alive during the senses.
