Down the River Notes
Mr. William Milam, a young man who resided in the back part of Putnam County committed suiside last Saturday by hanging himself from a beech limb near his residence. He leaves a wife and three children. He was a son of Sina Milam. What led to this rash act of young Milam is not definitely known. He is said to have been in good circumstances.
