Arthur Issacs, the thirteen(sic) year old son of W. Isaacs, fell from a raft into Elk river at his fether's brick works yesterday afternoon and was drowned. It appears the boy was leaning over the edge of the raft dipping up a bucket of water, when he lost his balance and fell in. The body sank but was recovered by James Reveal who dragged for it. It was taken to the home of the parents in Elk City. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock p.m. today.

The funeral of Arthur Isaacs, who was drowned last Monday, was largely attended end the entire city is in sympathy with the bereaved parents, brother and sister. His remaons were followed by many friends and laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery.
