Thomas William Marion, 88, of Brundon Rt. Elkview, died yesterday at the home of a son, Walter of Elkview. The body will be taken at 3 p.m. today from the Albert Myers and Son Mortuary in Elkview to the residence where service will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. Vinton Olive will officiate and burial will be in the Marion Cemetary. Surviving are three other sons, Charles and Bert of Charleston, Robert of Dunbar. Two daughters, Mrs. Mary Shamblin of Elkview, and Mrs. Bessie Shamblin of Romance; a sister Mrs. Sarah Burgess of Charleston, a brother Criss of charleston. 52 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Laura Florence Marion, 73, wife of Thomas W. Marion of Leatherwood on Poca river, died yesterday morning at her home after a year's illness. Services will be 2 pm at the Leatherwood Advent Christian Church with burial in the family cemetary. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Shamblin of Elkview, Mrs. Bessie Shamblin, of Sissonville; four sons, WG. of Elkview, R. H., H. A. & C. M. of Charleston, a sister, Mrs. Sarah Gillespie of Washington, four brothers George Surface of Dunbar, William, Otis & Walter of Charleston. 47 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. The Albert Myers and Son Mortuary at Elkview is in charge of arrangements.
