DESCENDANTS OF MRS. RADER WERE PRESENT AT
HER FUNERAL
CEDAR GROVE, W VA., JULY 17
Mrs. M. Rader died here yesterday and was interred at the Odd Fellows censtery at East Bank today. Mrs. Rader was the daughter of Joseph Martin, one of the pioneers of the Kanawha Valley, and was born 83 years ago. When quite young she was married to Joseph Huddleston, who died at Boomer Branch in 1835. Afterwards she married William Rader, who was assassinated at Paint Creek in 1861. Of her issue by her first husband there is Washington Huddleston of Spencer, Roane county, and also Mr. Nugen, of Dego. Mr. Huddleston is 65 years old and the oldest inhabitant of Spencer. She was the mother of J. B. Rader, of Lock number 5, and of Geo. Rader of St. Alband and John Rader of Longacre. There were present at the obsequies representatives of three generations of her descendants, from four different states of the union.
