William H. Samuels, son of Greenburg (Greenbury?) Samuels, died at 10 o'clock Sunday morning aged twenty one years. He had been suffering with comsumption for some time. Deceased was a nephew of Professor Samuels of Elk City. The remains were laid to rest on Tupper's Creek at 2:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

Wm. Ransom, of Tupper's Creek, died at 2 o'clock yesterday, of catarrh in the head, from which he had been suffering for the past twenty years. He is seventy three years of age, and leaves a family of grown children to mourn his death. The remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground at 4 o'clock this evening.
