Miss Gebhart, 87, Dies in Hospital
Miss Florence Gebhart, 87, of 1121 Virginia St., E., died just before noon yesterday in McMillan Hospital after a long illness.
Miss Gebhart had lived in Charleston all of her life. She was a daughter of Charles and Margaret Bender Gebhart, pioneer settlers of Charleston, and was born here July 1, 1865.
A brother, Edward, preceeded her in death in 1941.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Miss Gebhart's only survivors are two nephews and seven nieces. They are Edward and Andrew Kelly, Mrs. Maude Barlow, Mrs. S. L. Ashley, Mrs. Margaret Larrimore, Mrs. Eva Umbach and Miss Jessie Denoon, all of Charleston; Mrs. Nell Newland of California and Mrs. Rose Reese of Monroe, La.
The body is at Barlow-Bonsall mortuary.
