Harold Boggs In Legislature From Madison Co.
Among the new members of the approaching session of the Georgia legislature will be Harold A. Boggs, now practicing law in Danielsville, but who is a former farm extension agent for Bartow county. He will represent Madison county.
With his wife and their young son, Mr. Boggs resided in an apartment at the R.D. Hale residence on West Avenue, while he served as county agent, and also studied evenings at the Atlanta Law school, where he graduated in 1950. He was an active member of the Cartersville Rotary club.
In a review of new members of the legislature, the Atlanta Constitution carried this interesting story about Harold Boggs:
Madison County's new representative, Harold A. Boggs, is the grandson of two north Georgia officials.
His paternal grandfather, Neese Boggs, served as ordinary of Madison County and his maternal grandfather was Berry T. Moseley, former judge of the Northern Superior Court circuit. Boggs himself served as county agent of Bartow County for four years.
Born in Danielsville, he attended elementary school there and in South Carolina. He graduated from high school in Danielsville, attending junior college in Dahlonega and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1941. He served in the Air Force for four years during World War II.
After studying at night for two years, Boggs received his LL.B at the John Marshall Law School. He has practiced law in Danielsville since 1950.

 Harold died on 7 Apr 1978 at the age of 58 in Madison Co., GA.⁽²⁷⁴⁾ He was buried in Madison Co., GA at the Old Danielsville Cemetery (Presb. Church).

Harold Arthur BOGGS and Jean DIXON were married. Jean DIXON was born in Brevard, Transylvania Co., NC.

Harold Arthur BOGGS and Jean DIXON had the following children:
