She was born in Attalla, Ala., August 18, 1920, daughter of the late Horace Boggs and Pearl Johnson Boggs. She had been a resident of Floyd County since 1940. She was a member of the Shorter Avenue Baptist Church and had been employed by Big K and WalMart for over 19 years. Survivors include a daughter Bill Stansell Cooper, Smyrna, a son, Bobby Newton Stansell, Woodstock; a brother, Horace F.
