Co., GA. According to Terena Boone, she had cancer. She had an obituary

Mrs. Essie Georgia Gillean 72, Dalton Rte.
4, died Monday in Hutchinson Memorial Hospital. Survivors include one daughter,
Mrs. Louise Dean, Dalton, two sons, Glenn Boggs, Ringgold and Monroe Boggs,
Dalton; two sisters. Mrs. Etta Heard Dalton and Mrs. Ellen Lambert, Pisgah,
Ala. 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services
will be held at ll a.m. Wednesday at East Morris Church of God, Dalton,
the Rev. C. H. Chimbee officiating. Burial will be in Sand Springs Cemetery,
Rome.
(Note from Emily O'Neal - This is the wife
of Charles D. Boggs, son of Ezekiel L. Boggs and Emma Nichols. Charles
married Essie Green(sic) and he died June 22, 1937.) (Since receiving this,
we have learned that her maiden name was Essie Hix, not Essie Green - source:
Terena Boone). According to Terena Boone, Essie was married 4 times: George
Gillim, Charlie D. "Can" Boggs, Will McKensie, and Floyd Conoly. She was
buried in Rome, Floyd Co., GA at the Sand Springs Church Cemetery(272).
