He appeared on the census in 1900 in Floyd Co., GA.⁽²⁰¹⁾ 1900 Floyd Co., GA census shows Harry Green, son of Melvin and Jennie Green. He is a white male, born in Aug 1898, and 1 year old. He was born in GA, and his parents were born in GA.
He died on 13 Apr 1946. Ruby Smith spelled his name as Harce. It was also spelled this way on the back of an old picture. In M.C. Green's will, he lists his son H. C. Green as one of the executors.

He was married to Mae GILLIAM on 28 Aug 1921. Mae GILLIAM⁽²⁰²⁾ was born on 11 Jul 1903. She died on 3 Dec 1961. Horace "Harce" (Horzoney) C. GREEN and Mae GILLIAM had the following children:
