She lived in Baxter County 45 years before moving to Arizona in 1936. She was buried in Valley Memorial Park and is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Bud Webber and Mrs. B.H. Thompson both of Mountain Home, Mrs. C.A. Presinger of Coolidge and Mrs. E.B. Franklin of Colgate, OK, three sons: F.C. and J.C. Carter of Coolidge and James W. Carter of Cave Creek, AZ.
