Elize Benton Grove only son of Marian and Helen Tucker Grove. Hewas born Oct. 25, 1880 near Bentley. Passed away at Jacksonvilled,Illinois hoospital Sept. 27, 1940 aged 60 yrs., 11 mos. 2 day. He wasmarried to Mary Langley Jan. 27, 1904. 3 children born to this unionBenjamin & Lawrence Grove of Plymouth and Mrs. Joseph Neil of Augusta.
Mr. Grove's father passed away years ago in Nebraska and his motherMay 19. 1926, leaves tomourn his children, 4 grandchildren and a numberof aunts, uncles and cousins in Hancock County. Was a member of M.E.Church. Funeral was Monday 2:00 at Ostrich Funeral Home. Pallbearerswere Ben, Will, Walter and F. W. McPherson, Harry Dickinson and FredTucker. Interment in Harmony Cemetery.
