Waman Leftwich To John A. McGee}}}}This indenture made and entered into this the 
11th day of January AD 1854 between Waman Leftwich of the County of White and 
State of Tennessee of the one part and John A. McGee of the County of Warren and 
state aforesaid of the other part. Witness that for and in consideration of the 
sum of one hundred and fifteen dollars in hand paid the receipt where of is 
hereby acknowledged the said Waman Leftwich has this day bargained p.480 and 
sold and by these presents bargains sells and conveys unto the said John A. 
McGee his heirs assigns forever the following described tract of land lying and 
being in the County of White, in the 6th civil district containing by estimation 
seventy six acres, three rods and twenty poles being the same tract conveyed to 
said Leftwich by Deed from William Irwin Sr and bounds as follows To Wit 
Beginning at a Black oak and Post oak the north east corner of a 1000 acre 
survey in the name of Isaac Taylor running thence west on his line nine poles to 
a stake and pointers thence north and passing Caleb Tollison's south East corner 
of his 50 acre survey at Eighty poles in all one hundred and twenty poles to two 
Black Jacks and post pointers the north west corner of William Irwin 150 acre 
survey thence east on a line of the same seventy poles to a black oak and post 
oak pointers on Bakers? Line thence south on said line ninety poles to a stake 
and pointers his corner thence East on a line of the same one hundred and thirty 
poles to a black oak and Hickory pointers Dildine corner on the east boundary of 
the said 150 acre survey thence south on said line thirty poles to a hickory and 
two post pointers the south east corner of said survey thence west on the south 
boundary there of one hundred acres ninety poles to the beginning being part of 
a 150 acre survey Granted to Wm Irwin by Entry No. 807 To have the same with the 
appertenances thereunto belong and the said Waman Leftwich binds himself to 
forever warrant and defend the title to sad land against all other claims 
whatever witness my hand & seal the date above.

White County       } Personally appeared before me George G. Dibrell Clerk of 
White County       } Court Waman Leftwich the within conveyor with whom I am 
personally acquainted and acknowledged the due execution of the within Deed of 
Conveyance for the purposes and things therein contained Which is recorded 
Witness my hand at office in Sparta in Sparta the 11th day of January AD 1854.
