From "The Southern Standard", Wednesday, July 10, 1991:
"Warren County native John Louy Hennessee, Jr., 64, died July 8 at his Route 6 residence after an extended illness.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired employee of Powermatic and a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ. Mr. Hennessee was the son of John Louy Hennessee, Sr. and Minnie Ola McGee.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Hennessee; two sisters, Virginia Northcutt and Mable Curtis, both of McMinnville; three aunts, Eloise Batey of Smyrna, Eunice Thurman and Irene Barnes, both of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held today a 2 p.m. at High's Chapel with Terry Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery."
