Hooper & Mary Hooper do hereby relinquish and transfer all our right and claim to Foster A. Pirtle for the love and affection we have for him the aforesaid Foster A. Pirtle his heirs and assigns the following tract or parcel of land Situated in the County of White and State of Tennessee on the waters of the Caney Fork.  Containing by estimation Two Hundred and Twenty Nine Acres more or less, and bounded as follows, to wit: Beginning on a post oak the Northwest corner of said Hopper's two hundred acre tract, thence South with a line of the same forty seven poles to Sweet gum in a pond, thence West one hundred and ten poles to a post oak, thence North crossing the Carthage Road at one hundred poles in all one hundred and seventy two poles to a maple with gum and white oak pointers in the Swamp, thence East passing Crowder's corner, at Sixty eight poles, and with a conditional line in all two hundred and eighty three poles to a rock, thence South with Crowder's line seventy two and one half poles to a rock, inside line, thence West thirty three poles to a black oak and hickory pointers, thence South thirty five degrees West with a drain sixty six poles to a post oak and post oak pointers, thence North eighty five degrees West, one hundred and five poles to the beginning together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, to have and to hold the aforesaid tract of land with the appurtenances and advantages to the proper use and benefit and behoof of him the aforesaid Foster A. Pirtle his heirs and assigns forever, and the aforesaid Samuel S. Hooper, the right, title, interest, claim and demand of any for the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances unto him the aforesaid Foster A. Pirtle his heirs and assigns forever, will warrant and forever defend against the claim or demand of all manner of persons on whatsoever claiming under him.  In testimony whereof the said Samuel S.
