Former Resident of Eden Burried After T.F. Rites

Funeral services for Elmer A. McGee were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the White Mortuary chapel in Twin Falls with the Rev. Donald B. Blackstone, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating.

Mr. McGee died Aug. 16 in a car accident near St. Maries. He was born May 6, 1918 at Mountain Home, Ariz., and came to Idaho in 1919 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McGee.

He lived in Eden and Jerome areas for several years and resided in Twin Falls for the past three years. He attended Eden schools, served in the army from 1945 to 1947 and married Leona Jones, May 16, 1947 in Imperial, Neb. He was general agent in Idaho for the Central States Health and Accident association.

Besides his widow and two children, Cheryl Linn and Patricia Kay, survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ova Blackstone, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Edna Chandler, Henderson, Nev., and Mrs. Mary Lolly, Marysville, Calif., and four brothers, Harry McGee and Ellis McGee, both of Caldwell, Cecil McGee, California, and John McGee, Sunnyside, Wash.
