WMH was fun-loving person and liked to tease. When his great-grandchildren would come to see him he would give then a quarter. He was interested in seeing his family grow. WMH had to use a walker and later a wheelchair because of his knees being so weak. WMH & Nadar lived by themselves and she took care of him until 2 years before they died... Nadar had lots of wisdom and was totally dedicated to her family and W.M. She used to hitch up the horses to take her family to church. When automobiles were invented she never learned how to drive...Phyllis White Hennessee, letter of June, 1991.
