Edward R. B. Vermillion	|     This Indenture made and entered into this 
twenty first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight 
hundred and forty four between Elizabeth Vermillion of the County of White 
and State of Tennessee of the one part and Edward R. B. Vermillion of the 
same County and State.  Witnesseth that the said Elizabeth Vermillion of the 
first part for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which 
She bears towards her said Son Edward R. B. Vermillion, Hereby and by these 
presents gives and conveys to him the said Edward R. B. Vermillion and his 
heirs and assigns forever the following described tracts or parcels of land 
situate lying and being in the County of White and State of Tennessee 
described and designated as follows to wit: One tract containing sixty six 
acres be the same more or less and being the same tract which her said 
Husband Jesse H. Vermillion dec'd Died Seized and possessed of by deed from 
William Earles dated the 28th day of January 1828, which Deed is Registered 
in the Registers office of White County in book M page 262 on the tenth day 
of June 1841.  Reference is here made for a more particular identity of same.  
Also one other tract containing fifty acres be the same more or less Granted 
by the state of Tennessee to Jesse H. Vermillion by Grant No. 6193, dated 
31st day of May 1838, and Recorded in the office of the Register of the 
Mountain District in Book L, page 31, being the same lands which were sold by 
a decreeal order of the circuit Court of White County after the death of said 
Jesse H. Vermillion and was purchased and bought by said Elizabeth Vermillion 
and the title to the same vested in her by a decree of said Circuit Court on 
the 6th day of October 1842.  I the said Elizabeth Vermillion Hereby & by 
these presents for and in consideration aforesaid do warrant and will forever 
defend the title of in and to the above conveyed lands to him the said Edward 
R. B. Vermillion his heirs and assigns forever.  In Witness where of I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this date above written.

Clerk of White County Court Elizabeth Vermillion the within named conveyor 
with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged the due execution 
of the within Deed of Conveyance for the purposes therein contained which is 
recorded.  Witness my hand at office the 19th day of July A.D. 1845.
