	I George W. Pirtle of said County do hereby transfer to Joseph D. 
Walling my interest in the Estate of George Pirtle dec'd for and in 
consideration of the Sum of Fifty dollars.  Given under my hand and seal this 
12th day of December 1840.

	Personally appeared before me Nicholas Oldham Clerk of White County 
Court Edward M. Murray and Joseph Herd subscribing Witnesses to the within 
instrument who being first sworn depose and say they are acquainted with 
George W. Pirtle the within named conveyor, that he executed the same for the 
purposes therein contained which is recorder.  Witness my hand at office the 
17th day of December 1840.
