Father of George is George Pirtle, born Oct. 5 1767 N.C.?, 
died Oct. 18, 1840 White Co. Tenn. 

Per Deed book B , page 410 , and Roster of Soldiers and Patriots 
  buried in Tennessee, by Lucy Womac Bates, Tn NSDAR.
