OBITUARY
Oliver Snavely was born near Collamer, Indiana, on December
20, 1869, died at his home north of Nelson, Nebraska, April 26,
1914, aged 44 years, 4 months and 6 days.
He was married near Dorchester, Nebraska to Miss Mattie
Applegate who died fourteen years ago. To this union were born
two children, Jesse and Roy Snavely. He leaves two sons, a
mother, five sisters, and five brothers and a host of friends to
mourn his departure.
He united with the Church of the Brethern in 1886, and
remained a faithful member until the time of death. The funeral
was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at James Watson's residence in
Cambridge, conducted by Rev. Geo Mishler. Text: 1st Samuel 20:3.
