NUTTER

Elder Hatevil Nutter was born in Harlington, Bedford, England in 1603 and probably came over about 1633. He filled various offices in church and state but was particularly conspicuous and active in prosecution of the Quakers. He lived at Dover and died June 30, 1675. Hatevil married Ann Ayers in 1627 at Dover and had a child Abigail Nutter born also in 1627. Abigail Nutter married John Roberts and had the following children:
