Phillip Henry Moses was supposedly born in England
and the earliest that I can trace him is the 1850 federal census in Burleson
County, Texas. I see you have a Henry Moses from Germany and wondered if there
could be some connection? Your page is wonderful Hope to converse soon.

it. Alot of work you have done to get this to the net. By posting your MOSES

S. S. Moses was married to Easter Ann Hill in 1830
in Wilcox County, Alabama. He died shortly after 1850 in Union Parish,
Louisiana. His son Henry Whitman Moses was my husband great grandfather. He was
born 1831 and died about 1929 in Hempstead County, Arkansas. We cannot find
Samuel's parents though we think possibly the father could be another Samuel.
In one census S. S. was born in Ga and in another NC. Oh, yes, I read your John
Moses genealogy and one son was William Alexander Moses which was als a son of
S. S. Moses. Any remote connection would be great. Mary

Good for you Mary! My line is English..Robert Moses
was born in Carlisle, England in 1735. Immigrated to America abt. 1755 and was
enumerated in the 1776 Census of the Georgetown Hundred which is present day
Georgetown within the confines of the Dist. of Columbia. Our lines are not
connected but if there is an interest in linking to my line I would be happy to
provide the information. I think there would have to be some link or something
set up because clearly your page as it now is should not contain a unrelated
line even though the name is the same. Let me know what you think when you have
time. Sincerely, Louis Moses [email protected]

Thanks for your effort in putting this site together. I love it. History
becomes more important as we grow older and I hope to leave good records for
generations to come so they won't have to dig as hard as I have.
