JOSEPH HARRY ZAKALUK
August 18, 1942 - February 19, 2002
Peacefully on Tuesday,
February 19, 2002 at the Beacon Hill Lodge Joe Zakaluk
passed away. He was predeceased by his parents, Nellie
and Harry Zakaluk; his three brothers, Micheal and Paul (in
infancy) and Steve in 1971; and his sister Marian in 1998.
Joe leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years Jeannette;
four sons, Darin, Brad (Tricia and Daniel), Scott and
Jason.
Prayers will be held at 7:30
p.m. on Thursday, February 21 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home,
455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday,
February 22 also at Glen Lawn. Reception will follow.
Special thanks to the
staff at Beacon Hill Lodge and Health Sciences Dialysis
unit for their care and compassion towards Joe. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be sent to the Kidney
Foundation at 200-55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
