LAUR, Lawrence 79 years. Died on August 9, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (nee Corrigan) (2000). Loving father of Larry and wife Kathy, Carol Trudell and husband Ron, Bonnie Laforet and husband Randy and Terry. Dear grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Beloved son of his late parents Lydia (nee Meilleur) and Gordon Laur. Beloved brother of Norman and wife Laura, Arlene Warren and late husband Jim, Wilmer and wife Mary, Betty Hess and husband Dave and predeceased by Gordon (1997), Lester (1998) and Richard (2002). Dear brother-in-law of Renee and Margaret Laur.

Mr. Laur was the owner of Laur Plumbing and Heating and was a W.W. II Veteran. In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as your expression of sympathy. By family request, there will be no visitation. Following cremation, there will be a graveside service on Thursday, August 12, 2004 at 10 a.m. with Interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. LAUR, Richard Passed away suddenly at 69 years on December 20, 2002. Beloved son of the late Gordon (1981) and Lydia (1970). Dear brother of the late Gordon (1997), Lawrence & his late wife Bernice (2000), Norman & wife Laura, the late Lester (1998) & his wife Margaret, Arlene & her late husband James Warren (1963), Wilmer & wife Mary and Betty & husband David Hess. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Richard is a retired employee from Colonial Tool. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 27, 2002 at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (in the Mausoleum) at 2p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home (253-5225).

Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Richard Laur in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton, Morris Sutton, Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 28, 2003. All are welcome.
