Damascus Methodist Church

Damascus Methodist Church had a parsonage three doors farther north than the Anglican Church. But the Methodist Church was built in 1896, on con 6 east of the County Road. Built of red brick hauled from Fuller's Brickyard on lot 25 con 7, West Garafraxa; the lumber was brought from Arthur. It became United in 1925

Mount View Methodist Church

The Methodist Church was built of red brick in 1881, on the north-east corner of E 1/2 lot 14 con 4, on land donated local families. It became a United Church in 1925, and was closed in the 1940's. Richard Gilder, son of Charles Gilder, was a long-time and faithful Superintendent of Mount View Sunday School.

Conn Methodist Church

Under the Garafraxa and Luther Mission of the Methodist Church, under the infulence of Robert Conn, a new Methodist Mission was formed in 1872, with twelve members. In 1873, land was purchased from Robert Conn for a church, at a cost of a $1.00. But it may not have been erected until 1891-92. Likely they had a log building first.

In 1884, it was known as "Nelson's Church", possibly because of an impressive preacher or lay minister. It was re-grouped and became known as "Bell's Corners Church", under the Cedarville Mission.

A rented parsonage was used until 1899, when the present United Church Manse was procured. Rev. Sparling was the first minister to live in this home. Rev. Treleaven was the last Methodist Minister at Conn.

Church Union came to Conn in 1912, when the Methodists combined with the Presyterians until 1925.
