(Plymouth Probate Records 1722, Book 4. To son Benoni, 5 shillings, Thomas Jr.
half a lot of land at Middleboro, easterly side of Assawampsett Pond, Jonathan
beech lot, chest and "sword," David, 5 shillings, dau. Mary Delano,
best bed and furniture and half of the movable estate, also 20 shillings due
from John Drew at Middleboro, Sarah Drew, 5 shillings, Ruth Drew, next best bed,
bolster, blanket and coverlet, and one quarter moveable estate in doors. Grand
dau Deborah Weston, bed bolster and remainder of moveable estate in-doors. To
son Joseph, half of my moveable estate out doors and my hand irons. Witnesses,
Samuel Weston Joshua Delano & Hannah Alden."
It appears from registry of deeds in Plymouth that Thomas Delano is mentioned
as "Dr" and "Tailor." Winsor Hist of Dux mentions his being
elected Constable 1691. 1676 Thomas Delano and John Rogers Jr appointed to survey
public highways.)" He was married to Rebecca ALDEN prior 30 Oct 1667.

She was born prior 1649 in Duxbury,Plymouth,MA. Rebecca Alden, b. pre 1649,
d. pre 13 June 1688 (sett. fath. est.) <MD 3:10; Stratton:281 tells of an
unrecorded deed dated 2 July 1685, ack. by John ALDEN and witnessed by Thomas
& Rebecca De Lano which would place Rebecca's dth. betw. 1685-1688>; m.
pre 30 Oct. 1667, Dr. Thomas DELANO <PCR 4:168 (fined 10 pounds for copulation
with unnamed wife before marriage)>, (son of Phillip DELANO and Hester DEWSBURY),
b. 21 Mar. 1642 < >, d. 13 Apr. 1723, Duxbury < > <MD 6:22
states he died betw. 5 Oct. 1722 (will) - 22 Apr. 1723 (oath of wit.)> (See
