He was buried in Oxford Memorial Cemetery,Lafayette,MS. It is given in my grandmother Hazel Hurdle's Bible that they were married in Collierville, TN, which is in Shelby County. A check of the Collierville Herald for the months of August and September 1935 revealed no engagement or wedding announcements. In addition, a check of the Shelby County marriage records (County Clerk, Vol V2-W2, Mf. roll #423) showed no license issued for the couple in September 1935. He was married to Hazel Evelyn JARVIS on 7 Sep 1935 in Collerville,Shelby,TN.

buried on 3 Oct 1999 in Oxford Memorial Cemetery,Lafayette,MS. Children were:
