"NICHOLAS MERWIN was born say 1555. Virtually nothing is known of this man, but he was almost certainly the brother of Anthony Merwin, because Nicholas' grandson and heir male, Thomas Merwin Jr. was made Anthony's chief heir. Likewise, Nicholas' second son, Walter Merwin named a son Anthony, and also served as a witness to the 1634 will of the senior Anthony Merwin.
Nicholas married by 1580, but the name of his wife has not been learned. There is no record of his burial at Amersham, and it seems likely that he moved with his brother Anthony to Clewer, Berkshire, for which early parish registers have not survived. No probate record for Nicholas Merwin has been found." He was married prior 1580. Children were:

ii.
Thomas MERWIN(162) was baptized on
31 Mar 1583 in Amersham,Bucks,England. Baptized as "son of Nicholas Morwin".
Nothing is known of his life, and the name of his wife and place of residence
have not been learned. In 1634 he served as an executor of the will of his uncle,
Anthony Merwin of Clewer, Berkshire.

Sarah MERWIN(162) was baptized on
15 May 1590 in Amersham,Bucks,England. "daughter of Nicholas Murwin"
