104. Hiram ELLIS (8) was born on 7 Jan 1804 in Niles,Cayuga,NY. He died in 1874 in Caton,Steuben,NY. Ellis genealogy by E.R Ellis quoted:

"Hiram Ellis was born in Niles, NY, Jan. 7th, 1804. He married Martha Flower in 1832, and they raised two children, Hannah and Elisha, both born in Niles. Mr Ellis was a thorough bible student, and of remarkable memory. He was radical in his opposition to the use of tobacco, (which he had used up to 45 years of age,) alcoholic liquors, and even tea and coffee. He was a man of great benevolence and generosity, and contributed largely to aid the afflicted and suffering. He was a farmer, and the last few years of his life lived in Caton, Steuben Co., NY, where he died in 1874. His wife died in 1864. Mrs. Ellis was a sister of Mrs. Wade, the mother of Rev. E. R. Wade, of McLean, NY. Elder Wade says of Mr. Hiram Ellis that "he was a God-fearing man, and as honest as sunlight." He was married to Martha "Polly" FLOWERS in 1832 in Niles,Cayuga,NY.

105. Martha "Polly" FLOWERS (8) was born in 1808 in New York. She died in 1864 in Caton,Steuben,NY. Not sure of source of birthdate. Given as Martha Flower (no S at the end) in the E.R. Ellis genealogy. Children were:

child i. Hannah ELLIS(8) was born in 1834 in Niles,Cayuga,NY. She died in 1873.
