| Ida Hoffman was born
on March 15, 1873 in Stettin, WI. She was the daughter of Herman Hoffman and Augusta Schultz.
On December 9, 1890 at the age of 17, Ida married Ferdinand
HEISE. Over the next 20 years, Elsa and Ferdinand would give birth to Elsa
(1891), Edwin "Speed" (1893), Olga (1897) who died in infancy, Mabel (1900),
Signa (1907), and Ida (1910). In 1914, Signa passed away. At some point over
the next 15 years, Ferdinand became a patient at the Marathon County Home and would later
drown in Lake Wausau. In 1924, Elsa died and Ida moved to Muscatine, Iowa to be
close to Elsa and Eric Bartelt's 6 children. On March 29, 1929, Ida married Charles
Henning who was born in Germany and immigrated to the US in 1914.. Ida was a
German Lutheran and housewife. Ida is buried with Charles in Memorial Park, Iowa. Ferdinand is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, Marathon, WI |
