Will of Isaac Kirk Decd
The last Will and Testament of Isaac Kirk of Donegall townshipWashington County state of Penna. In the name of God Amen I Isaac Kirk considering the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death Being weak in body but of sound mind and memory and understanding, Blessed be almighty God for the same, Do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as convenient after my decease be paid out of my personal estate. I bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Kirk my real estate on which I now live containing one hundred and eleven acres m___ less during her natural life . at the death of my beloved wife Ann Kirk, I bequeath the afore real estate to my beloved daughter Jane Kirk to her, her heirs and assigns forever And farther. I bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Kirk during her natural life all of my horses cows sheep and hogs and all my farming utensils of my (illegible) have at my decease and also all my household goods of every kind with (illegible) of one bedstead bed and bedding and one cow which I bequeath to my beloved daughter Jane Kirk. I bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Kirk all monies in (illeg) at my decease due or to become with the exception of one hundred and fifty (illeg) and interest in the same which I bequeath to my beloved daughter Jane Kirk when she is twenty one years of age provided my beloved wife Ann Kirk should undertake to build a house on my real estate then my said beloved daughter Jane Kirk is not to receive the said bequeathment of one hundred and fifty dollars and interest on the same, And further I bequeath to my beloved daughter Jane Kirk whatever mixed or person property that my beloved wife Ann Kirk may be possed of at her death. Also it is my will that my Uncle Thomas Kirk shall have his keeping of my estate during his natural life agreeable to article(?) in the hands of John Birch of the Borough of Claysville. And further I do hereby appoint my beloved wife Ann Kirk sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.

Washington County ss. Be it remembered that on the 8th day of September A.D. 1855 before me John Meloy register of the Probate of Wills and granting letters of administration in and for said County came John Porter and Samuel Kirk the describing witnesses to the will of Isaac Kirk decd. Who after being duly qualified according to law _______ and say that they were present at the execution of this same will and saw the Testator sign his name thereto, that at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other they subscribed their names as witnesses, that they heard the testator publish pronounce and declare the forgoing instrument to be sound for his last will and testament and at the time thereof he was of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief.
