Lola M. Shrewsbury
Mrs. Lola Mae Shrewsbury, 68, of Route 2, Beckley, died Thursday at 12:30 a.m. at home of natural causes.
Born Dec. 18, 1918, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Rakes.
Mrs. Shrewsbury was a housewife and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard William Shrewsbury in 1984, and a daughter, Judy Shrewsbury Rogers in March 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Shrewsbury of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Roger Shrewsbury of Crab Orchard; three daughters. Dorlia Cox, Jan Lacy and Sylvia Sweeney, all of Crab Orchard, and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Melton Mortuary Chapel in Beckley. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley.
Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
