Services for James E. Fife, 70, retired director of engineering for the West Penn Power Co., will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m. at the E. B. Laughlin Funeral Home, 3310 West Liberty Ave. Mr. Fife, of 255 Outlook Drive, Mt. Lebanon, died Monday (March 30) in Mercy Hospital. A graduate of Penn State University, he was employed by West Penn Power for 39 years and retired five years ago. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War I and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 379, Ridgway, Pa; the Pittsburgh Aero Club; Mt. Lebanon Golf Club and Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Moyer Fife; two daughters, Denise and Valerie Fife of San Francisco; and two sisters, Mrs. W. B. McClelland of Canonsburg and Mrs. Harry Freshwater of Sarasota, Fla. Burial will be in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
