Name comes from 1930 Census for Cameron, Marshall Co, WV. In 1920, his name is difficult to read, and was indexed by Ancestry as "Steve" Grim. In 1910, he was listed as S. G. Grim. In 1900 Census, he was called Sturgis Grimm.

Sturgis G. Grim
Sturgis G. Grim, Washington, R. D. 5, died at 2 a. m. Saturday in the Aspinwall Veterans Hospital.
A veteran of the Spanish-American War, he served with Company K, 10th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and was on active duty in the Philippines.
Born near Burnsville, he was the son of Dr. W. L. and Elizabeth Litman Grim. For a number of years he was employed as a painter and paperhanger.
He was widely known as a baseball player for a long period.
He is survived by his wife and a daughter in New York and one brother, John E. Grim, Washington, R. D. 5.
The body is at the Brownlee Funeral Home, Claysville, where funeral services will be conducted today at 1 p. m., in charge of the Rev. H. L. Henderson, pastor of the Claysville United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery.

KIMMINS, FRANK ELDON
Kimmins, Frank Eldon, of Dallas, WV died at the Ohio Valley General Hospital in Wheeling, WV. He was born at Sand Hill in Marshall Co, WV on April 1, 1871, a son of Samuel W. and Mary E. Money Kimmins, and had been a life resident of the community. He was a member of the Dallas Methodist Church. He was the last surviving Spanish American War naval veteran in West Virginia. He served on the U.S. gunboat Topeka in 1898 and 1899.
Surviving are his widow Lessie V. Carter Kimmins; one daughter, Mrs. George L. Beith of Martins Ferry, OH, one brother, Harry of Elm Grove, WV; and one niece, Mary Romaine Kimmins.
Friends received at Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Dallas Cemetery
