Obituary:
Leo McGlumphy, 50, passed away at his home on Elm St., Claysville, Wednesday, April 24, at 12:45 pm after a lingering illness.
Mr. McGlumphy was born January 23, 1890, at Ninevah, Greene County, a son of Benson and Eunice Condit McGlumphy, an was a resident of Claysville for past 27 years.
On November 26, 1912, he married Pearl Sprowls. He was a member of the Ninevah Presbyterian Church. He was a blacksmith by trade and was associated with his father, R. B. McGlumphy, in the shops at Ninevah and Claysville.
Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Dorles, of Pittsburgh; Mildred, at home; Mrs. George Rettinger, of Washington; also a sister, Mrs. Gaylord K. Lewis, of Washington, and a brother, George McGlumphy of Washington,
Friends will be received at the McGlumphy home until Friday at 11 am when the body will be taken to the Brownlee Funeral Home where services will be held Friday at 2 pm in charge of W.V. Longbrake, pastor of the Claysville Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be in Claysville Cemetery.
