Charles D. Atkinson
Charles David Atkinson, 56, of Thorne St, Houston, died Wednesday, January 28, 1987, in his home of an apparant heart attack.
He was born October 7, 1930, in Houston, a son of Charles W. Atkinson of Houston and the late Rowene Fife Atkinson. He was a mechanic for the Gutman Oil Co. And a member of the Teamsters International Brotherhood.
Mr. Atkinson attended the Faith United Presbyterian Church, Washington, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife, Shirley H. Morgan Atkinson; two sons, Chris David Atkinson, Eighty Four, and Kirby Atkinson, Washington; two daughters, Mrs Don (Darla) Cowden, Hickory, and Sally Atkinson, at home; two grandchildren, Drew and Danielle Cowden; three sisters, Elizabeth Anderson, Colorado, Louise Carroll, Mason, Ohio, and Charlotte Fritz, Campbell, Calif., and one brother, James R., Scottsbluff, Neb*.
