The Research Process
Considerable work has gone into the research of the Jones Family. My inspiration and start came from my grandfather, Sheldon Jones, who had begun research in the 1950's. I inherited his research notes, and a book, the equivalent of our family Bible, a book probably written in by Benjamin Jones giving the dates of birth and death of his wife Abigail Eldridge and his son Noah. The book was "The Travels of John Woolman". Unfortunately there seems to be no more resource such as a family Bible which kept further records. Wouldn't you know, I waited until almost everybody with any memory of those times has passed on!
