(Parents of my great grandmother, Ella Fraser McNally)
These two photos are both
of my great grandmother Ella Fraser McNally. On the right she is seen with
a group of students at a school possibly in Prince William, York County,
NB.
On the left above is the
Rev. Harry C. Fraser and on the right, his brother, Otty J. Fraser. They
were both brothers to Ella Fraser pictured above. Rev. Fraser was ordained in
Grand Falls, NB on Dec. 24, 1910. The picture in the middle is also a
picture of Harry Fraser, along with his first wife, Mary Louise Ross, circa
1909-1910. After the death of his young wife, in December of 1910, Harry
moved to British Columbia and married Kathleen Henderson. As
well as being an ordained minister in the Presbyterian church he was involved in the field of education and was at one time the Inspector
of Schools for the Prince Rupert area.
Otty Fraser lived in Saint John, NB and from 1926 until his retirement in
1942 was the General Manager of the New Brunswick Telephone Company. His
death notice in The Telegraph Journal, Saint John, called him a phone pioneer.
The marriage portrait of Otty J. and Katherine A. Scott Fraser. They
were married Sept. 22, 1909.
