George and Mahala Allen Lawrence, my great grandparents. 

George, born October 17,1866 was the son of Philemon and Pheobe Jones Lawrence of Zealand, NB.  He died Feb.7, 1949.  He married Mahala Allen, daughter of Robert and Irene Boone Allen on March 25, 1891.  She was born October 15, 1874 and died August 17, 1945. 
The first 2 pictures below show George and Mahala in later life.  The picture of George was given to me by Frank Morehouse of Fredericton, NB. The third picture also shows Mahala and George with my grandfather Everett and 2 of his children, Jean and Harold. The couple to the right in that picture are Ottie and Vera Gallagher with daughter Marie.  Ottie was the grandson of George and Mahala, and son of Winslow and Matilda Lawrence Gallagher. The last picture in the row is my grandfather Everett with 2 of his siblings, Winslow and Ina.

My grandparents, Everett and Muriel Gordon Lawrence. In the center picture they are shown at their 35th Wedding Anniversary celebration in 1967.  At right, they are pictured in the front yard of their home with their grandchildren in the fall of 1966.
