The Pond Home in Bear Island. Prior to 1919 it was known as the Queensbury
Hotel and was a coach house, a place where stage coaches changed horses.
According to a relative the balcony was torn down in 1934 due to unsafe
conditions. My grandparents, Byron and Marjorie Pond McNally were married
there in 1930.
