The School pictured above is the two-room school-house my father attended for eleven years and also where I attended for grades 1 and 2.  My fondest memories of the times spent at this school are mainly of recess and lunch time.  My fellow students and I loved to play in the wooded area behind the school where many pretend houses were built among the trees.   The brook running though the trees just below the school was as well a great place for a youngster to play!
