The New Rochelle LeFevres

The New Rochelle LeFevres

This branch arrived in the United States much later than the others. The earliest known progenitor was one John LeFevre, a native of Havre de Grace in France who later immigrated to Santo Domingo. His son of the same name, who lived from 1752 to 1837 settled in New Rochelle, New York and had a son named Peter E. LeFevre who was Captain of a steamer sailing from New York.
