SD. Iro served schools in South Dakota as a music teacher for six
years and then as a school superintendent for thirty years at Avon, Mobridge,
Faulkton and Milbank. Two years were spent in Pierre as Associate Superintendent
of Public Instruction. Professional preparation was attained at Yankton College,
AB; University of South Dakota, MA and Ed.D.
